King Tarkus was an independent American progressive rock project, Northwest Ohio, United States, heavily inspired by the classic symphonic and psychedelic rock sounds of the 1970s., marking its active run from 2019 to 2024. Created as a nostalgic revival project to capture the golden era of progressive rock. The project is characterized by blending the cerebral, atmospheric textures of Pink Floyd and Tangerine Dream with complex, heavy riffs reminiscent of Rush and King Crimson. Despite sounding like a full, traditional rock ensemble, King Tarkus was actually a one-man solo project. Dylan Sharninghouse is the sole creator, producer, and multi-instrumentalist behind the moniker. He tracked all of the instruments independently, including guitars, bass, drums, and synthesizers. While Dylan released several tracks during his active years, the project’s defining and most notable studio release is its massive 2022 full-length record “Temple of Illusions”. The compositions heavily emphasize extended instrumental sections, synth soundscapes, groovy basslines, and elaborate guitar solos. “Temple of Illusions” became an underground favorite for fans seeking long, continuous progressive soundscapes ideal for immersive listening sessions. It features a total runtime of 56 minutes split across just 5 epic tracks, with every single piece crossing the 10-minute.

Realisea is a prominent contemporary neo-progressive/symphonic rock band from the Netherlands. Formed initially as a studio project, the group has evolved into a highly regarded fixture of the Dutch progressive rock community, recognized for its deeply melodic, emotional compositions and distinct folk undertones. The project Realisea was completely transformed in April 2020 following the highly acclaimed release of their debut album. In fat, the band has released 2 albums so far: Their incredible debut album “Mantelpeace”. The second one, its successor entitled “Fairly Carefree” was released in October 2022. Kharma Code comes from Madrid, Spain, formed in the early 2000s. They are an underground progressive rock and progressive metal band known for their intricate arrangements, melodic passages, and cinematic concept albums. The band entered the progressive music scene with a heavily layered, epic sound heavily influenced by iconic acts like Dream Theater, Shadow Gallery, Genesis, Opeth and Neal Morse. Though initially remaining relatively under the radar within mainstream circles, their complex instrumental duelings and long-form song compositions quickly earned praise from dedicated progressive rock enthusiasts. After a long hiatus following their initial debut, the band revitalized their project to release a highly ambitious, cinematic concept album. Then, in 2026, Kharma Code released their incredible second album titled as “Arthouse”. Edited independently on May 15, 2026, a full-length, narrative-driven conceptual album. It explores the internal psychological struggle of an artist searching for inspiration and purpose, split into two acts: Act One – The Avant-Gardes (a dreamlike descent) and Act Two – The Awakening (a return to reality).
