MAR ASSOMBRADO AND THEIR THIRD ALBUM “GEOGRAFIAS ESTRANHAS”

Mar Assombrado is a Brazilian band from Recife, formed in 2014, led by André Sena, whose intention is to show an experimental sound, bringing together the elements of Progressive Rock and recitations of poems and poetry. The roots of the progressive rock of the band Mar Assombrado go beyond music: they are echoes of literary, historical, mythological references. The members of Mar Assombrado describe the project as a combination of music and poetry since most of the verses of the songs follow a recited line. After two surprising albums, Mar Assombrado is releasing new work, “Geografias Estranhas”, to be released Friday, December 18th, in digital and CD formats.
